Secure (Encrypted) Services

Secure services can be provided with dedicated encryption for added security. Security can be point to point, network level, IPSec or up to DES3 on certain VSAT services.

Peripherals

Astutechnologies can also assist with off-the-shelf solutions for the peripheral items which effect many projects, such as Cyber Cafes.

Cell Phones

In many developing countries, and in Africa in particular, access to even the basic technology can be a challenge. Astutechnology has access to refurbished 900MHz cell phones for customers requiring basic mobile phone access.

Voice Break Out

All Inmarsat services have built-in connectivity to the PSTN and can have internet access. For VSAT neworks voice break out to the PSTN can be arranged, although for small or individual networks, voice minutes will normally be pre-paid.
